How it works
The method
Gardiv converts household members into adult-equivalent servings, estimates seasonal demand, and divides by the crop’s broad servings-per-plant range after losses.
Worked example
For two adults who normally eat bush beans, the tool combines weekly servings, fresh-eating weeks, an editable loss buffer, and a broad yield range. It reports a range instead of one falsely precise count.
Remember: Garden outputs are planning ranges. Weather, cultivar, soil, pests, sunlight, and care can materially change the result.
